This page includes essential information you need to know before you register for the Presidents-Elect Leadership Seminar (PELS). Additional information can be found under Frequently Asked Questions and Schedule-at-a-Glance.
Attendance Requirement
Attendance at PELS is required for all incoming Rotary Club Presidents. If you cannot attend during the scheduled dates, you must contact your District Governor-Elect (DGE) to coordinate an alternate PELS session.
General Information:
- Registration is now open to Presidents-Elect serving July 2026–June 2027.
- Registration closes February 9, 2026. No refunds after this date.
- Online registration is for Presidents Elect (PEs) only. Assistant Governor, Sergeant-At-Arms, DG-Line member, Faculty and other special guest registration is coordinated through your District’s DGE.
What Your All-Inclusive Registration Includes:
- Hotel room accommodations (assigned by PELS—do not contact the hotel directly)
- All PELS training sessions
- Printed and digital materials
- Hosted meals and refreshment breaks
- Access to breakout sessions and networking events
Rooming Options & Pricing
Shared rooms are strongly encouraged—not only to support your club’s budget, but also for building relationships and strengthening your Rotary network. See the Frequently Asked Questions for common questions about rooms and reservations.
ALL room reservations are managed directly by the Far West PELS committee. Do not call the hotel.
- Shared Room — $890
Includes: Friday & Saturday nights, 6 meals, 2 receptions, and all instructional materials. - Single Room — $1,150
Includes the same package as above.
Note: Single rooms are limited and available to Presidents-Elect only. Single rooms are not guaranteed without full payment at the time of registration. Double check your club budget: most clubs only reimburse the shared-room rate and you would be responsible for any difference. - Add-On Nights (Thursday or Sunday)
Available for an additional charge. Room type must match your Friday/Saturday selection.

Event Logistics Overview
- Hotel Check-In: Opens at 8:00 AM on Friday.
You must check in at PELS Registration to receive your schedule and your name badge with barcode—required for entry to all General (meal) Sessions. - Program Schedule:
- Friday: Begins promptly with lunch at 11:30 AM
- Sunday: Concludes at approximately 1:00 PM

Health & Wellness
Your Far West PELS Planning Team is committed to creating an inspiring, energizing, and comfortable experience for all attendees. In the wake of COVID-19, RSV, and other viral concerns, we continue to monitor guidance from local public health officials to support a safe public gathering event, while recognizing that everyone has their own preferences when it comes to personal wellness.
- Face coverings are optional and fully supported.
- If you’re feeling unwell leading up to or during the event, we encourage you to take precautions to protect fellow attendees.
We will share any venue-related or county public health department -required updates if they arise. Thank you for helping us maintain a positive and considerate environment for all.
Code of Conduct
All participants are expected to demonstrate professional, respectful behavior consistent with Rotary values. Misconduct may be referred to district leadership and may result in removal from the event and loss of PELS completion status.
